Another GSM for Y.O.U

Back to one of my favorite types of wine…the GSM.  I’m like a magnet to this blend when I see it.  Just quickly for those of you who aren’t familiar.  The GSM blend is Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvedre.  It’s traditionally a Southern Rhone blend that is becoming more popular globally.  This one from Australia is a bit different than some I’ve had, with a tanginess and cranberry vibe, but I still loved it.

I still had some of those short ribs in the freezer from my visit to McCall vineyard so I cooked them with wild mushroom truffle ravioli.  We had a little homemade apple crisp for dessert.  It was a full-on fall time meal.  The GSM was a treat while preparing the meal and while eating it.
