Liberated Pinot Noir Monterey
The winemaker states that this wine is “Liberated from the pinot noir trend of overly ripe fruit and high alcohol”. So, they are aiming for a more classic terroir driven style which they have achieved quite nicely.
This pinot shouldn’t disappoint. It has really nice tart cherry but it’s not overwhelming. You can also detect notes of tea and slate. I guess you really shouldn’t judge a bottle by the label but I would be proud to gift this wine based on the artistic value and what’s in the bottle as well.
Liberated pinot noir can be found with 3 different and unique labels making this an ideal choice to bring to the next backyard get together with friends.
