Partner with pasta
Summers Andriana’s Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon
You will find this wine for about $20 a bottle but it drinks like $40. It actually includes several other varietals including Petit Sirah, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cab Franc making this more of a Bordeaux style blend. I opened this bottle in the evening while making fresh pasta for the first time, whick by the bay is fantastic, addictive, so worth the effort.
Anyway, I digress, this is a great choice for an after work/weekday wine. Summers Cab has a beautiful mix of fruit, leather and stone with well-balanced tannin’s. For the price it’s a great option to bring over a friend’s house as well for a weekend get together. It won’t disappoint the crowd. Plus it was pretty great with the pasta.
