Something to FALL for
Halos de Jupiter Cotes du Rhone
If you are a bottle label person this one might draw you in with its cosmic looking design. The wine itself is a light ruby color in the glass and has bright wild strawberry aromas. I really enjoyed that it is a bit tart or tangy in an almost cranberry way. It has that little something special that sets it apart from some other Cotes du Rhone’s in this price range. Because of the strong cranberry vibe I was getting from this one I immediately got into fall mode and pictured some kind of pumpkin dish to go with it. A pumpkin soup or a butternut squash risotto on a rainy night would be so yummy with the bright red fruit flavors in this wine. With this in mind I also recommend grabbing a bottle for your Thanksgiving table.
