Thankful for Kung Fu Girl
Charles Smith Kung Fu Girl Reisling
With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I thought it was time to post some suggestions. This incredible Riesling comes from the Columbia Valley in Washington. Now don’t get me wrong I loved this wine. It’s just that some wines are so delicious and easy to drink that well….they are just too easy to drink. This wine is a good example. I have to actively slow myself down while drinking.
Kung Fu Girl is a nicely balanced Riesling with powerful aromas of citrus and peach. It’s wonderfully crisp with just the right amount of mineral. This wine is a definite crowd pleaser. Kung Fu is a not too sweet, not too dry, and just the right amount of fruity.
This winning combo is sure to make a lot of people happy at the next casual spring or summer get together. I love this wine served cold for hot summer nights. I will also be enjoying this wine at Thanksgiving. Again, it’s a people pleaser and it’s wonderfully aromatic, I think it will go very nicely with turkey and all the trimmings.
